How does best ball work?
Two teams of two. Everyone plays their own ball, and each team takes its best (lowest) score on every hole.
Match play or stroke play?
Match play compares team scores hole by hole. Stroke play adds up the team’s best scores for the round. Lowest total wins.
What handicap allowance is used?
The common recommendation for four-ball match play is 90% of course handicap, off the lowest player. You can change it under Handicap options.
