How does match play work?
You play hole by hole. Lower score wins the hole, a tie halves it. Whoever wins more holes wins the match.
What does "3 & 2" mean?
The winner was 3 holes up with only 2 holes left, so the match ended early.
How do handicaps work in match play?
Play off the low: the lower handicap plays at zero and the other player gets the difference, one stroke per hole starting with the hardest holes.
